Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (abreviados a menudo como “MMPR”) son series de acción/aventura, de 20 minutos, de 155 episodios (incluyendo Alien Rangers) basadas en la serie japonesa Kyoryuu Sentai ZyuRanger. Después adaptó temas de Gosei Sentai Dairanger y de Ninja Sentai Kakuranger.
Cuando unos astronautas por error liberaron a Rita Repulsa de su prisión en la luna, Zordon, que había establecido un centro del comando en Angel Grove, reclutó a cinco adolescentes para asumir el cargo de defender el planeta como Power Rangers- Jason Lee Scott , Zack Taylor, Kimberly Hart, Billy Cranston, y Trini Kwan. Cuando la batalla se hacía larga, llamarían a sus vehículos individuales llamados Zords y destruirían a los monstruos que amenazaran la paz en Angel Grove, todo esto mientras lidiaban con su vida como adolescentes en plena secundaria.
